but... how to do the crazy pitch bends for the solo... maybe a tremelo or trill adaptation?

Naw, just a quick slide up with the mallet would suffice.

but the trouble would be doing it well in quick succession. the actual part (as I know it to be preformed) is played by manipulating an octiver pedal while playing a single tremello note. But I haven't played a glock in years so I'm not truly fluent on it's capabilities anymore. :P

No, you're right. By definition, there are no strings in a fanfare. I'm using the term loosely as I couldn't think of another word. And it's being used for a wedding ceremony, so it sort of fits the atmosphere.

I love that harp (it is a harp, right?). It brings a nice rhythm. It just cuts off a second or two before all the sound has finished reverbing though! How long did this take to compose?

It does, annoyingly. A couple of seconds longer, but I think that's Audacity's fault.

And honestly, this was written very quickly. Like I said, it's a pretty simple piece. I'd say from start to end was about an hour.

Pointless anecdote incoming but you know whats funny, I downloaded this to my hardrive (as I do all your stuff anyway) sat winamp on random while I was playing World of Warcraft and just after our group managed to kill the raid boss this came on, spooky timing heh but it fit really well.

Anyway now ive sufficiently bored you with a pointless tale from my life, incoming praise, I luvs it, simple but often the best things are, hits all the right notes (if thats the proper turn of phrase here) in achieving what it intends to and then some. good work
