My belated Spyro's anniversary art piece. This is inspired by knockabiller on Deviantart who made two pictures of Spyro the Dragon and Blaze the Cat together, and I see where she was going with them. Spyro and Blaze are purple video game characters with fire powers and they're both tough fighters. Not to mention that they also collect gems (in Blaze's case, Sol Emeralds). So here's a pic of those two, and Blaze is giving a salute to pay her respect for the dragon's 21st anniversary. It also goes well with my theory and headcanons that Blaze becomes a Dragon Master and has friendships with a lot of dragons, including Bowser, Cynder and myself. It really fits that she would be associated with dragons since she possesses the power of flames, and I even have planned a fic where she and Spyro meet and become friends, setting in motion her desire to be a Dragon Master. Happy belated anniversary to Spyro! Looking forward to trying out the Reignited Trilogy now that it's on the Nintendo Switch!
