Originally wasn't planned to be a mlp design but gosh I had one idea after another with this gorgeous lore keeper/scientist !
There is a type of gemscale sickness that slowly consumes a pony or creature until they can no longer function. He's one of the longest living with the chronic ailment. He's become quite the expert on his own treatments and even treating other gemscale afflicted ponies.
