I imagine this bird has been a little too successful at catching the worms recently leaving the plants concerned that there won't be enough left to maintain the quality of the soil. They might have to diversify their dietary requirements and get needed minerals and nutrition from other sources like preying on birds so I imagine this would be the equivalent of a friendly warning. The tickle plants will tickle his armpits, ribs between the toes and the soles of his feet until he's exhausted and perhaps repeat that a few days in a row so he'll be a little too tired to be around too early though hopefully not enough he'll give up altogether since it's such fun tickling the poor birdie.
Twas a genuine compliment. In your pictures, every device always seems to be applying the perfect amount of pressure, getting just the right folds and motion lines into the skin. The torture looks firm and slow, but still gentle enough to produce a tickling sensation. You're very good at it.
