Too compassionate, too cold, too fast but too slow, so sad and yet still hopeful. The order of the universe is one of contrasts, of contradictions, of duality.

I do think the same way you do.
Life is nothing but a large grey spectrum, endless choices and possibilities. And as you said, everyone has both light and dark sides on them and oposites will always exitst. Whatever you choose to be in any specific time or situation is entirely up to you. If you can understand this and enjoy it, then you are doing great.
Haven't actually read the document but with only your description i got enough. I might read it later.
Regarding what is "Normal", well, I myself have a nice duality, beign a nice "normal" person most of the time, with some inner dark side which i love and enjoy but keep safe and guarded deep inside. And i am often regarded to be as "normal" by the society standards. So, just don't be too hard on your thoughts and feelings and BE yourself how you want to be (as long as it doesn't hurt others or mess with their lives too much :P ).
I do enjoy the duality ^^
One question.. you mention 3 days?.. 3 days for what? just curious...
Hope you are doing ok, and cheer up ^^ enjoy all those moments, even the bad ones.

Hmm i think i forgot to say this, but.. you ARE normal.
All that mood shifting and contradictions in the mind ARE normal.
It is just that some people tend to do it or show it more or less than others, but all have them.
Lol, if you only could be in my thoughts for a minute, hehehe, you might go crazy :P
Anyway.. just cheer up.. be happy and enjoy either the bright or the dark inside of you, and make the most enjoyfull grey that you want to be. ^^

It seems so.
And I don't know about that, my words are mere shadows of the half-formed and long since faded thoughts. Most of what I wish to say or do I forget the details of when writing or doing art, what others see is but a pitiful translation of what I had in mind. I assure you that if my writing skill or knack with words were truly that good I'd have finished the novels I started an eternity ago and all that has been finished would have been submitted for all to see.
And as for any possible links to existentialism...I never thought of it that way and had to briefly double-check on the meaning. I don't know whether that line of thinking is a good thing or a bad thing in the eyes of the world...

I know well the problems of bringing thoughts to paper. Over the past few weeks I've been forcing myself to put thought to paper on a regular basis, in the form of weekly "rambles," and despite however good the results might look, it still feels as if I haven't adequately expressed the thoughts. I think that, on the one hand, you give yourself too little credit, and one the other, I think it's a testament to the thoughts themselves if this is merely the shadow. Thought is fluid, it's difficult to solidify into words.
The eyes of the world don't see existentialism very clearly. It's often lumped in with nihilism. Sometimes that's correct, often it isn't, but it's certainly the prevailing image of it. It's more of a base philosophy, with things growing from it or built upon it. It suffers from the same stigma that any deep philosophical thought does. It's beyond the comprehension of some, and it asks hard questions, which most people don't take kindly to, no matter what the answers are.

I believe the best way here is to find a middle-ground between your two hands: I am perhaps somewhat modest about that which I do and thoughts shall always exceed the words that follow them.
As for existentialism, I'd say that's an accurate description from what little I've seen so far. That being said applying labels to many things in life, especially types of thinking and groups of people, is rather pointless besides the need of identification and discussion. Labels tend to detract from the person or thought and with the wide variety of both sometimes they can't be grouped fairly.
