A drawing from my favorate train movie. Actor Eric Roberts is trapped in the old EMD F7 locomotive with no way of getting to the lead engine an SD 60 EMD to shut it down. It pulls the F7 and two other loud GP9 high hooded locomotives through the dark erie and freezing cold mountains and forests in the middle of no where USA.

I did some searching and it is a GP40 unit and it is still being in used in Alaska. The two other Geeps are still in use one had been spotted working
in Kansas at a ethanol plant.
The F7 was retired after the movie and sent to a museum and the Poor old ALCO/GE that was in the crash scene was recently cut up for scrap.
