So... I spend all my other time on other projects as well as this one, though spent mostly on miscelanious parts of the animation process... such as modeling teeth, tounge, rigging said objects, then creating blend shapes from scratch, Its rather sad that I wound up only having about 6-8hours to spend actually animating the rig! XD
haha, thusly its no where near finished, but it seemed everyone was very happy with it when presented, so Im posting this for all of you who haddent yet.. I plan on cleaning it up, lengthening it out (the full clip is about 2 min long) and tweaking the rest
Im aware the angry stage isnt done, nor is it polished, nor is the motion of the head well off, just live with it, Ill fix it later Im tired of final projects and want a vaccation! XD
Those that are curious about the sound clip it came from a very amusing robot chicken episode, hehe :D

Haha thanks! ^^ I think I may post a movieclip of the camera following the face (you see the camera in this playblast, but you dont see through it) it was put there so I could see his face at all times, and I made sure it all lipsynced just right ^^ Well.. untill the end when I ran outa time XD
Looking good there, nice eye and lip movements. Perhaps when he walks into the quicksand, have him not tilt his head down until he realizes that he is in the quicksand then he'd say "uh oh." His facial expressions are looking pretty good too. Of course its still in its blocking stage. Good work anyhow.
yup, with a short-ass deadline.. it was an assignment for a rigging class was to either make or find a model a quadroped character by the next week, so he was kinda a rush job.. I did the texturing later as another homework assignment for some other class and added a tounge and teeth later for another class but most of the work in modeling him was done as a rush job..
youve got some outstanding movement when hes on his way into the quicksand just fantastic. The deniles looks realy good to. like the secondary on the chuckles. I would siguest maybe making him move a little quicker when dropping the f-bombs. like having him bob into the K's in the F word like his super mad. Looks outstanding cant wait to see the finished product.
