About Vixue
They are tiny; they can fit in the palm of your hand! They are extremely fluffy and light. They're also not very solid. Your finger can even pass through their body like it's made of soft jelly. Handle with care! Vixue are born when a gust of wind stirs up a cloud of dust, feathers, and magic and it all mixes together...poof! A Vixue has been created!

Every Vixue has four little feathers on their rump. These feathers are the source of all the Vixue's life and powers. It's like the glue that seals them all together, keeping their magic sealed and under control within the Vixue's small body. A Vixue can live normally if it loses some of it feathers. However, if it loses all four, the Vixue's magic will be unsealed. Its body will lose shape and grow, becoming more like a badly held together sack of wind and magic than a tiny Vixue. It will struggle to control itself because of the sudden explosion of its powers. They usually become aggressive or even destructive with enough power to stir up large storms and tornadoes. Unfortunately, most Vixue do not survive this. After losing all four feathers, most Vixue will be unable to control their powers and will completely dissolve after causing some sort of destruction. Because of this, Vixue will usually not pluck all four feathers during fights.

Some Vixue who have great control over their powers can survive without feathers. It's not common but it is possible. These Vixue are usually highly respected or feared by other Vixue.

Vixue will reproduce by plucking one, two, or even three of their own feathers and mixing it with another Vixue's feather(s). As long as four feathers are together, it will create a Vixue. Vixue reproduction is not seen as a romantic or sexual activity.

Vixue like to float on the wind. They eat whatever small thing they find in the air; things like seeds, dust, smoke, and bugs. They are gentle and sweet when they're on their own, but when they're with others, they can become very mischievous and stir up trouble. Vixue use their tiny claws and fangs to defend themselves. However, they're too small to do any harm to humans.

Lore
It's said that the magical feathers that bring Vixue to life once belonged to a huge, feathered, mythical deity. It died long ago and now its feathers are scattered all across the world. These feathers are indistinguishable from regular bird feathers. Whenever four of these magical feathers are collected together with wind and dust, it creates a baby Vixue. The magic these feathers contain are useful for spells and potions, so Vixue are hunted for this. Other people just like collecting Vixue feathers and putting them on display for their beauty.

Hierarchy
Wild Vixue come together to create huge packs. Structure-wise, they are usually split into several subpacks, but still collectively ruled by one Vixue. The leader Vixue will be elected from the strongest subpack in the pack. Subpacks will challenge each other for leadership of the collective pack.

Vixue packs are incredibly competitive, especially within their own pack. Wild Vixue will steal feathers from different Vixue packs to create new Vixue and grow their own pack. Sometimes subpacks will even steal feathers from within their own pack to strengthen their subpack. However, being in the same overarching pack, they are not likely to want to kill each other. This usually results in a lot of drama.

Subspecies
Buns - Buns are the most common type of Vixue. Soft round heads, small bodies, wiggly noses and twitchy whiskers. They usually make up the majority of every pack. While they may be the most plentiful subspecies of Vixue, they are also not very strong. They usually rely on their swift feet and their baby-doll eyes to avoid conflicts. However, if cornered, a Bun will definitely defend itself. Most likely to give you nose nuzzles.

Grunts - Grunts are one of the strongest type of Vixue. They usually have some sort of trait that allows them to give someone a nasty chomp or bop on the head. Grunts, however, are also very protective. They're known to grow attached to other Vixue very easily (usually Buns... they're cute) and will then lay down their life to protect them- even if it means going against their own subpack. Which is exactly why Grunts may be very strong, but also, unfortunately, the most easily manipulated subspecies... Most likely to cuddle you during nap time.

Mutts - Mutts are a unique bunch. You never know what you're going to get with a Vixue Mutt. They may be sweet, they may be strategic, they may be ready to rip your throat out...they may be all of the above... They are usually a combination of traits seen in all Vixue subspecies. Other subspecies may have a hard time gauging if a Mutt is really a Mutt or not. Some Mutts don't take advantage of this. Some do. Most likely to knock water glasses off the table.

Beasts - Beasts are strong and impulsive. They're the type of Vixue to fight first, ask questions later. Because they like to fight, they tend to spar and play-fight with other Vixue in their subpack. To Vixue who are not Beasts, this can be kind of..............scary,,. Beasts tend to develop a very close bond with their own subpack. They're the least likely to betray their own subpack, which makes them very valuable...as hot-headed as they are. Most likely to play-bite.

Nobles - Nobles are a very fragile type of Vixue. They resemble Buns in some ways, soft and limber, yet also have odd or almost even beautiful additional traits. Nobles are both defenseless, fragile, and incredibly susceptible to getting the dust beaten out of them. This is why they avoid fights like the plague. Usually Nobles are intelligent, creative, and graceful little critters...but when backed into a corner, they can become extremely sly and manipulative. Nobles tend to participate in a lot of unique activities and behaviors not likely in other subspecies, such as creating art or trading with other subpacks. Subpacks that have many Nobles will adopt these unique activities. Most likely to beg for chin scritches.

Alphas - Alphas are very rare, and for a reason. Alphas viciously dislike each other. They are extremely strong, and will join any subpack that opens their ranks to them. However, if an Alpha happens to lock eyes with another Alpha, the two will be drawn into a violent battle to the death. Subpacks who have an Alpha are very careful not to create offspring with it to avoid accidentally creating another Alpha. Alpha-less subpacks, however, love to target Alphas no matter how impossible the task may seem. Vixue packs can only have as many Alphas as there are subpacks. Most likely to win every competition.

❤️❤️❤️ means you have a… Vixue Alpha!
