I must comment as I have always been a fan of lil' dragons. It's adorable to think on what a hatchlings nursery would be like. Perhaps filled with little bits of non-valuable treasure? Maybe a bunch of fools' gold so that the lil' one doesn't destroy the hoard while also gaining an affinity for the shiny things?
This could lead into a fun tale on feral dragon raising. Where the dragons may have access to basic hatchling needs but still do what they did prior to having other 'modern conveniences'.
What feels fun is seeing how mom and/or dad would introduce their fledgling to different treasures, like Emeralds and sapphires, while watching their eyes glow with that lust that mom and dad both have for acquiring all the shiny objects they can.
Always wish I could truly 'see' your work. However I thank you for the title and key words as they gave me a nice mental vision. :)
