She's a cautious and kind magma monster that slipped to the surface from the molten core of the earth. Tephra is soft spoken and cowardly but very aware of how destructive she can be by nature. Her body is fueled by and composed of melted rock and is incredibly hot, making any sort of contact or even getting near her really difficult. One nasty outburst can cover a town in a thick blanket of liquid earth. Tephra has a deep respect for the natural order and appreciates all aspects of the natural elements, though she's slow to accept her role as a force of demolition and wonders if molten rock can do good in this world. She can melt her more solid upper body to travel the ground as flowing lava or move slowly by just using her lower body. From openings in her chest and forearms, you can see the magma flow inside her. The magma inside her is even hotter than what's outside and acts as blood, digestive juices and other bodily fluids.
