Val Sky’za – Warrior Skymin Goddess
Now for you to meet Val Sky’za, my warrior tier goddess Sky Form Shaymin. :3c
If I remember right, about a year ago, when this gal was made, I was playing Heroes of the Storm. Many of the traditional themed warrior characters in the game got me interested in wanting to make one for myself. So in a way, I made a sort of Valkyrie themed warrior, which was also partially inspired by a Leona skin from League of Legends.
This character is definitely someone made with
Mannoth in mind. His Twitter bio used to say something like “obsessed with armor” or such. And well… Mannoth is a paw lover, so might as well give this gal “big stompers.” :3c (Actually, I was on a big paw kick at the time, having just remade Ambyrn the Flareon and created Thoryza the Zeraora.)
When I decided I needed to color this gal, I had no idea what to even color the armor. I just guessed black and red would look good but as I started, I kept thinking I needed to add or switch in gold. I ended up keeping with just the red and black and people in my stream chat watching really loved how Val Sky’za turned out this way!
Done with mechanical pencil on white card stock paper and colored digitally in Photoshop CS5.
