• Biography: Reiko is one of the 16 adepts born to Junichiro & Palutena, being the younger twin sister to Masuyo and both coming a day after Lysimache was born. Juni discovered Reiko’s septimal abilities when he went into her bedroom to get her ready for a Summer hike up Mt. Thick ‘n Sticky, only to find it was pitch black in the room. The light had been blotted up and no sunlight could pierce through the blackness. Immediately, it was deduced that this was septimal work, and sure enough, Juni learned that, like Masuyo, Reiko was born an adept. One who can generate and manipulate darkness. Juni asked Reiko that he train with her to better harness her septima. While Reiko agreed, she opted not to get any sun. Despite this, Reiko put up with clear sunny days for the sake of learning how to better harness her septima, nailing each lesson her father threw at her until she was able to master it within days. However, as she was not able to travel until she was 16 or so, Reiko, along with her fellow adept sisters, used this time to learn how to utilize their septimas in a variety of ways. By the time Reiko was 16, she was ready to help fight against any threat that may show its face, even if the threat is born from Sumeragi. Reiko is a playful and kind soul, but beneath that sleeps a big masochistic side where Reiko is often begging to get hurt during battle. However, she has immense durability, so this isn’t a huge issue. Though she loves gazing at the stars on clear nights, she, most likely due to the nature of her septima, does not care for clear sunny skies. Has the best night vision of any human being.
• Abilities: As a human attuned to the 7th stage of the lifewave, Reiko is a powerful adept who is ranked an A-Rank, but has the power needed to compete with her high-level sisters born before she was. Reiko has an affinity for the Erebus Septima, which grants the ability to generate and manipulate darkness. Reiko can cloud one entire room in pitch black shadow as well as block out any light source whether or not it’s natural or man-made. However, the sun remains the only light source that Reiko has yet to blot out easily. Reiko has also been proven to manipulate shadows since they themselves are a part of the darkness aspect. Her septima is impressive normally, but once Reiko taps into her dragonstone to weaponize, the full potential of her septima is unlocked and darkness really becomes her ally. Her attacks are as follows.
o Shadow Punch: Reiko throws a dark aura-laced punch that follows the closest enemy within range. If the first hit misses, it will try to strike the opponent again immediately after.
o Shadow Claw: Reiko morphs her hands into a set of dark claws and slashes the opponent with them.
o Shadow Ball: Reiko gathers dark energy into a ball and launches at her target of choice.
o Dark Beam: Reiko fires off shots of chilling dark energy from her hands. Charged up, it will entangle opponents in damaging black slime if it manages to hit.
o Dark Burst: A stronger version of Dark Beam. Reiko prepares a Dark Beam, but packs more energy into it. Upon use, it releases a black hole that will draw its opponents in and, if successful will detonate with the trapped opponent still inside of the hole.
o Night Slash: Reiko blankets the arena in darkness before turning invisible afterwards, then proceeds to slash the opponent in the blackness twice.
o Sucker Punch: Reiko will actively try to get a surprise attack in while the arena is still blackened some. Works better at night as the chance of success is higher.
o Dark Void: Reiko opens a void to suck the opponent into the darkness. Success makes the opponent get a severe beating in an alternate dimension.
o Dark Pulse: Reiko gathers her dark thoughts, or her opponent’s dark thoughts, if the target has any, and fires it back at the opponent as a black energy pulse. This is at its most powerful against those with the darkest thoughts and those who're pure evil.
o Demon’s Lariat: “The Darkness Beckons/Reaching with its dreaded grasp/from which none escape. Demon’s Lariat!” Reiko’s Special Skill. She blankets the arena with darkness like with Night Slash’s start up, only Reiko makes the darkness come to life as “Shadow Demons” that actively try to grab the target. If even one shadow demon grabs the opponent, then they are dragged into a realm of total darkness and mercilessly smacked around senselessly by other shadow demons before Reiko finishes by gathering shadow into her fist, forming it into a large drill, and dashing forward with it outstretched, dealing massive damage.
