King of the Monsters - Mothra
I went with the 80's look for the Queen of the Monsters, and I'm definitely loving how she turned out! This marks the third in the series with three more to go! My mind went somewhere weird just now. A picture gradually developed of "kaiju at home." A Three Little Bears-like cottage interior. Slightly anthro'ed characters.
*Godzilla in an overstuffed chair, reading a novel and wearing round reading glasses.
*Kong on the floor, assembling a toy of one of the crazy-ass machines Toho always flung at monsters.
*Ghidorah cooking. He's simultaneously fetching something from the fridge, stirring a pot, and watching a small TV, with a head devoted to each task.
*Rodan visible through a window, tinkering with an old-timey car outside.
*Mothra in a second overstuffed chair. Knitting, naturally.
I can't really commission this. But I'm crossing my fingers that you find it amusing enough to try.
If I'm really, really lucky, this might even become a meme.
