Making Gains, Thanks to a Dragon 01 [xSini]
Five-foot-six had been her height before the swim. She now stood six feet tall—had grown about a hand-and-a-half taller. Elfin and lithe she had looked before, and her limbs had been soft and smooth. Now, muscles sculpted her petite frame. She looked like she had trained in kickboxing.
Patches of vibrant flamboyant scarlet scales formed a “Y”-shape over the pit of her neck, and a patch of them cascaded down each of her inner thighs from the triangle of black fabric covering her loins. The triangle, along with the rest of the one-piece, strained from the growth spurt she seemed to have undergone. Her tailbone now stretched the fabric above her buttocks and looked as thick as a pole, as long as one of her feet. Feet that seemed larger, their nails now resembling claws.
He was transfixed. Not in a pervy way, but in the way with which humans look at dragons. He subdued the intensity of his expression out of politeness, but he couldn’t look away. It was a reverent look of genuine curiosity, the look of someone having learned a new fact about a religion into which their heart has just been inducted.
Even though Savant knew something extraordinary had happened to her, he accepted this knowledge as enough. He could not question why or how she had transformed. There are truths beyond questioning. This is something he understood viscerally but couldn’t put into words in his mind. It was completely unnoticed by him that he had shrunk from sixteen feet tall to fifteen-and-a-half feet tall.
