Special thanks to Latte for helping me pay in advance for the new avie.
Kay, so story behind this - I returned, for or less fulltime, to Second Life a week or two ago searching for stuff to do - roleplay,PVP, building, buying, selling, exploring til finding an interesting place or two, etc, etc. While doing so, I felt a little off - things changed! Everybody went and got all fancy one me! At first I wanted to find a new grey cat avie for myself, but then after chatting with Latte, I started wondering about a new fursona again. So I came up with this.
Ended up going with a serval av since it was the closest thing, but my intention was something called a "Gordon's wildcat". It's this little cat in the Middle East that looks more like a domestic tabby than anything. People say it's friggin' vicious though. Brings my mind back to when my own cat nearly drug me under the bed one day when he was mad. (When something 1 foot long and 20 pounds can pull your wait, you don't forget that moment. Or piss them off with a spray bottle again. 9.9; )
Anyways, needs some work as far as the SL avatar goes, but the sketch on the left is more of what I was aiming for. Decided to go with my SL name of Ota - as far as a roleplay character and SL theme goes, he's a desert nomad (figured I have no place to call my own there, so why they hell not. XD) and debating on tying him in with the other NPC Ota I had in fantasy stuff to give that noble bloodline thing. That's always fun. :P
As for the pose, I couldn't think of anything, so Latte suggested using his sword for a kitchen knife, and that led to this sword dance thing. Thought it would make good practice in the speed and finese departments, which are supposed to be his strong points.

Oh, you have SL too? :3 Yeah, it's gotten fancy from when I joined too and that wasn't even all too long ago! D:
If you want help modding somethings on your avi I can always help. Or if you wanted to get closer to what you imagined, you could make yourself a skin for your avi too! Like. If you wanted specific markings and what not besides what the Serval skin has. ;|3 Sorry Im ranting.
