From a foal eyed with suspicion and disdain, Vanilla Swirl proved herself to be a magicorn of sharp mind and keen intuition.

One of a kind, she was born of the most sordid circumstances, conceived under a union which lacked the Blessing of Selendis. Only with this blessing, bestowed upon the most powerful, ought a child be borne, lest their population exceed the limited resources available to them.

With the life of her father as the forefeit, she was permitted to live, swiftly growing estranged from her mother, Red Velvet. Instead, she searched for a purpose for a pony who was not supposed to exist, eventually finding it amongst the Lights.

Iniitially, she was faced with confusion as her detractors failed to understand the honour that she was given. Eventually, such ponies grew scarce as she served diligently, treating those around her with respect and kindness, even if they did not offer her of the same.

Mild mannered and gentle, Vanilla Swirl speaks with a low, soothing voice, exceptionally capable of diffusing volatile situations. Despite being very serious during her time spent working, she also enjoys goofing around with Astral Bounce and Sapphire Skies who she sees as little sisters.
