"Why is Freyekko always the subject of some of my best works? XD Well, not complaining; I love 'im.

Anyway, this was an experiment I did while in Australia. I drew the sketch, and then decided I didn't want to just leave it as it was, or ink it and color it normally. So, without having anything to look at as a guide, I began my first experiment in cross-hatching...and I'd have to say I'm rather proud. Like...for something I've never done before, I think it turned out damn well.

I love his expression the most, though. At first it might just look like he's grinning normally, but...turn your head and look him in the eye. I wanted go to for a kind of creepy look, and I feel like I succeeded. X3

The title of this is inspired by the song of the same name by Renard, a short version of which can be found here. (I didn't ask if I could use the title, so I hope he doesn't mind... >_> ) Other songs I listened to while doing this were Overdead and You're Already Dead. (Go listen to those samples -- I conveniently gave you links there -- and if you like 'em, buy them. They're all three good songs, and Renard makes a living off his music, so...do eet~)
