Sketchbook 3
And here's the final sketch that lead to the completed illustration. I got 'em BOTH on the page...but, not quite ALL of them *giggles* This fella's missing his ears, for example...and his tail. If you look close, Sweetheart was going to be posing with her knee up kinda...with a lot of flair, but I couldn't quite figure it out, so she kept both feet on the ground. That...happens a lot! That's why I sketch things out ...most of the time!

No earz for him!! But, he got 'em back in the end. But, yeah, fitting multiple characters on one page is kind of hit and miss, MUCH worse when you try to fit two full bodies on the same page. When it's a portrait, it's a little easier and you can add more detail
Hmm...in the meantime, do you want to borrow my Epson? When I remodeled my computer desk, I had to move my scanner from my room to the living room as it syncs with my laptop. ...but...the scanner in the living room is sort of...homeless! With no computer in the bedroom, it has no place to rest its digital head.
Tee hee! Earless cat is earless... but yes, I already had a hunch, and now I know for certain which picture this was the sketch for! =^_^= It's definitely really nice to see how that lovely final picture came into existence through these sketches, milady =^_^=
*purrrs and hugs back*
You are very, very welcome, milady =^_^= I have great respect for visual artists with talent such as yours, and it's very nice to see how the final pictures that we get to see, come to be through a period of sketching and thinking and trying. Too many people have NO idea how much time actually goes into a picture...

He's a very nice guy, I promise! He's the one who commissioned the piece. Don't worry, There's no one besides Boomer who can fill that special place in her heart. And he's a gentleman to boot The full color of this is in my gallery. You can get a better view of him there and see for yourself
