We got a new clutch of quail eggs and so far only 3 have made it in good health and because this dog has way too high ‘kill drive’ on anything prey-like I know she’d take em if she ever got the chance and I’m not going to let her.

She doesn’t get actually injured when disciplined, worst I do is pick her up and lightly shove her away from the area. What I usually do is take on a different stance and stomp the ground hard enough to let her know she’s to back off, that or a quick grab motion to her body to imitate a dog’s warning nip.
