Ephalon - Divine artefact - Erafar's Gemini Spear
Among Ephalonians there's an agreed upon belief, that the world came into existence after the emergence of the six Gods of Creation, two dragons, two Cenebrians, and two Ancients.
At some point in history each of these beings wielded an artefact of immense power. No one knows where these items came from, but their existence can no longer be questioned as of the Fifth Era.
Due to this item not yet being featured in the currently available Ephalon books, I'll keep information about it to a general level.
Erafar's Gemini Spear, there is a reason this item has been mentioned last. Out of all of the divine artefacts, this one is the most lauded, the most revered weapon in Ephalon. Throughout the annals of history, only a few mentions of its existence were found, just no drawings, and no first hand accounts. Everything stated about this weapon is hearsay and speculation.
If there is no evidence, then why has this weapon achieved such a mythical status? Therein lies the answer. It's a divine 'weapon', one able to, supposedly, kill any living creature with a single strike. How can it achieve such a task? By separating the body and soul, effectively ending someone's life.
Of course, since the fall of the Ancients came to pass, interest in the item has waned somewhat as there would be no one able to wield it and use it to its full potential. It would still hold a lot of value as it never dulls regardless of use.
Only a male Ancient can wield this spear of legend, but where is it? Does it even truly exist?
The Gemini Spear is involved in someway in final future-arc trilogy of the Ephalon book series, which I'll start writing in January of 2020.
This is part 6 of a 7 image set that I'll be uploading over the coming days. Enjoy!
Comments and questions are always welcome.
