The creators did offer a reboot to Cartoon Network but the studio turned down on it for whatever stupid reason. I mean, The Powerpuff Girls got a reboot (and a very shitty one at that since the original creator wasn’t involved in it) so why can’t SWAT Kats? Anyways, thanks.

The idea for the title pretty much came to me at the last minute. I was gonna give it a longer title that included the word sweat but then I thought about replacing SWAT with Sweat and keep the title short and simple at that. Sorry I beat you to it, heh.

One of the interesting things I think with SWAT Kats was virtually everyone wore shoes including Chance and Jake in their official jobs but they chose to go barefoot in their other uniforms so maybe a preference of theirs and not so surprising they might have a calendar like that. Definitely a lot of eye candy in that old cartoon and I'm sure got a lot of us to discover our particular interest, so with this piece it's good to see their feet in a more relaxed situation, albeit after a heavy workout/training session.
I've always love that detail about the show too, and the other characters never bring up the fact that they're not wearing shoes. I also like to imagine since they actually do have footwear on in their casual and training outfits, their feet might have a bit of an odor to them when they go barefoot in their SWAT Kats uniforms after being in those shoes and boots all day while they were either repairing cars or working out. X3
