A couple of weeks ago, someone in a forum posted a dumb pun along the lines of "How special are you? You're one-in-Charmeleon!", And I was finally given inspiration to draw that one Charmeleon gal again. If you didn't know, I last drew her here: (link)
That pic/collection of pics was a lot of fun (and people liked it), so I've been looking to draw her again, but the ideas hadn't been coming. Until now! I imagine that a special someone has just given her this shirt as a gift and she doesn't quite know how to express her appreciation. This pic was quite quickly done by my standards, and by that I mean it wasn't constructed with as much excessive care as usual. And even so, there aren't any obvious imperfections even at full res, lol. As for the technique, I trod a lot of the same ground as Sizzlin, just with less polish: (link)
Well, I think it turned out alright. But whatever details I may not have fussed over enough, at the end of the day she's still adorable.
Here are the rough doodles I made to suss out the pose. I did just the two at first and wasn't sure what to do, but then I sort of combined them to make a third and that was the one that stood out as the right choice. The tsundere personality is only really manifest in the first sketch, but the third was cuter. (link)
Maybe I should give her a name? I'd suggest Charmillion if that wasn't incredibly lame.
