Ephalon - Divine artefact - Orb of Numen-Nier
Among Ephalonians there's an agreed upon belief, that the world came into existence after the emergence of the six Gods of Creation, two dragons, two Cenebrians, and two Ancients.
At some point in history each of these beings wielded an artefact of immense power. No one knows where these items came from, but their existence can no longer be questioned as of the Fifth Era.
Due to this item not yet being featured in the currently available Ephalon books, I'll keep information about it to a general level.
The Orb of Numen-Nier, is the divine artefact associated with the Cenebrian male of the same name. As the stories go, this item is what allowed the Gods of Creation to communicate and teach their subjects writing. The Orb in its normal state is about the size of a large orange and could easily fit into your hand. It appears as a crystal ball with a tiny universe inside of it. A gateway to infinite knowledge. All one needs to do to access it, is imagine the information as being yours already, in a way unlocking it within your mind.
However, only pure male Cenebrians can utilise this item, as is similar with the restrictions on all divine artefacts.
The orb is involved in someway in final future-arc trilogy of the Ephalon book series, which I'll start writing in January of 2020.
This is part 4 of a 7 image set that I'll be uploading over the coming days. Enjoy!

Huh! Dangerous stuff there! I mean, you can gain powerful destruction knowledge, but when used, it destroys more then you wanted, maybe yourself and those you wished to protect as well, and even much more...Incomplete Knowledge is dangerous, that is why this item is potentially very lethal, if used to gain too much power, yet very useful if you use it for gaining harmless little things.
