Felines:1 | Canines:0 >:3


Sooooo Dexter was lion around, lazing on the beach as you'd expect him to most on days. But at one point he hops up to stretch, pausing as he notices a large ship on the horizon with a very interesting looking flag. A ship run by canines that's quite easily determined. Dexter thinks to himself "A problem? No. Opportunity! :D " A toothy smile grows on the mischievous lion's muzzle as he's filled with excitement! Dexter then shouts a THUNDEROUS ROAR, summoning quite a few fellow felines in the area to team up and seize this valuable opportunity to pull off a raid against a cat's natural rival. Despite these felines of various species being quite busy with important business (lazing on the beach and batting yarn balls), they're all more than willing to join up and pull this off. For they know it's a feline's duty!

The crew of cats wastes no time, boarding a fast ship of their own before heading out to sea. The unsuspecting crew of various canines is busy with official business (chasing tennis balls, barking sea shanties and nomming bones), when a loud howl is heard from the crow's nest. A particular howl to alert the crew to approaching danger. "CATS!" The canines all snarl and growl in unison as they spot the fast approaching vessel, with numerous cats across the deck holding their swords high. The scent of felines becomes stronger and stronger as their ship closes the distance rapidly, soon overpowering the salty smell of the sea. The canines grab their weapons and man the cannons, a series of booming thunderous barks erupting from the golden retriever captain to rally and ready the crew. But before they can fully prepare themselves, the faster feline ship swings in right beside them to unleash a powerful barrage from their broadside cannons; that shakes, disorients and scatters the crew. Before they can fully recover, they're surprised as several cats rope-swing from their own ship, landing aboard the canine's vessel in epic fashion. Within seconds even more felines swing aboard, jumping straight into the fray of swords and cutlasses clanking against one another; bites being traded for scratches; loud meows and rawrs countered by powerful barks and howls.

The canines do manage to put up a pretty good fight, holding back their invaders for a good while; but with the unmatched skillz and speed of feline's, the crew is finally subdued. An epic melee between Dexter and the golden retriever captain ending as Dex manages to knock his sword away with a few expertly placed powerful strikes; never once harming his opponent tho (because he loves goldie fluffs so damn much <.<). With the captain's surrender, Dexter swiftly climbs the main mast where that black flag marked with those signature crossed bone flies! Only to be torn away rather proudly before being replaced with a black flag that bears the dominating, terrifying symbol of cats. Dexter raises his sword high while he holds his prize, another flag to add for his collection of claimed ships, before a loud thunderous roar is heard for miles around as the cats all shout together. Marking a well-earned victory and the claiming of everything that belongs to the defeated crew!

Oh and don't worry, of course we let the canine crew free. At least after they swabbed the po....I mean after they cleaned our litter boxes! >:3
