Ephalon - Divine artefact - Claws of Orythorn
Among Ephalonians there's an agreed upon belief, that the world came into existence after the emergence of the six Gods of Creation, two dragons, two Cenebrians, and two Ancients.
At some point in history each of these beings wielded an artefact of immense power. No one knows where these items came from, but their existence can no longer be questioned as of the Fifth Era.
A few months after the acquisition of the Skull Mask of Arack, the very same history teacher was invited to join on an expedition into a recently unearthed cavern near the ESP dig-site. Within this mysterious hollow, the team discovered a temple suspended above a deep, dark chasm by way of nine massive chains. After a perilous journey into the heart of the forgotten ruins, she retrieved a mysterious set of gauntlets thought to be the Claws of Orythorn. The events that followed directly afterwards aren't privy to the public record.
Much like the Skull Mask of Arack, the Claws are constructed of the same strange metallic substance that defies reason. This divine artefact belonged to the female Ancient known as Orythorn. It's exact powers are unknown, though given the natural affinity for void-energy within Ancients, it's suspected that these gauntlets can somehow focus this energy to great effect.
Among Ancients most learn to use their natural void-energy to imbue themselves with great strength, however, a rare few are gifted with the ability to heal others. The belief goes that Orythorn bestowed this gift to her children the day she vanished from Ephalon's surface.
This is part 3 of a 7 image set that I'll be uploading over the coming days. Enjoy!

Void magic is (surprisingly) not my strong forte. It's usage is alien in nature, since it's not a prime material plane magic, thus practicing it is hard, and troublesome. Void magic (I guess) empowers only creatures that are from the Void, and bring only destruction to the material plane, like a form of antimatter would. And to use Void magic for healing...tricky stuff. I guess that it would not be healing, but "nullifying the damage in all time" so the would would heal as the damage was swallowed by the Void, thus never really happening nor existing. At least that is how I could imagine it working in the material plane...should ask an expert on this.
As for the "Claws of Orythorn" working on others, then creatures of the Void...maybe it turns both the target and the user a void creature during it's active usage, so the Void energy would be beneficial to them, rather then destructive. This is just speculation from my part, and as the author, you have full control on how the Claws of Orythorn really works. Maybe it just does...

Void-energy within the Ephalon universe, refers to a 'strange energy' that comes from another dimension called Limbo, which is nothing but void-energy. It isn't anti-matter, but it does share properties with void/death type magics, just an extra-dimensional form of energy. It's referred to as the 9th element of creation. I don't you can equate it 1-to-1 with D&D lore.
It's direct impact on a wound would be to super charge the normal restorative functions of the body, as well as giving them the energetic resources to create the matter that should be there in a healthy state.
Offensive use of Void-energy attacks tends to drain life from organic material, inorganic material becomes unstable, like iron rusting.
