a curious place to meet: a flea market. since Locutus collects watches and clocks it's only natural he goes all excited about a long-sought mantelpiece clock... forgetting about the lioness standing behind him (and no, she is not breaking that pice of china she's holding).

the paper of this and the second piece is some old letter paper I found somewhere, probably handmade, and not cheap either. thing is, it's only good for inking and pencilling, and doesn't take well with colour pencils. even though I aimed for muted, washed-out colours to compliment the paper's yellowed look it didn't work well.
