This story was inspired by a trip to the park I took with a friend (who isn't a little.) It was a real pretty area that was real hilly with lots of trees and a pond in the middle. I somehow got to looking at the area with more of a child's perspective and it gave me the idea to write this. Here soon I'd like to draw a couple of sketches to go with this.

I've been thinking of a background story for Starfire for a long time now. As a little little pup she strays from her real family and gets lost. I figured that she ends up being found and adopted by a wild dog named Blake. As she gets older, she finds out who her real parents are and she goes on a search for them. Hopefully I get the drive to write that out fully some day.
