Silvie had a spell mishap and poofed into a cat! She is still part sidhe, but now rather than a fox sidhe, she is a cat sidhe! They are magical cats with strange powers, bringing either blessings or curses based upon how you treat them! They were recognizable in Ireland as large black cats with a small bit of white on their chest.
What with my cat rescue and herd of black cats, I figured it was time to give her a major update. A few weeks ago I was actually bit by a semi-feral cat we were TNRing (he had gone through his neuter surgery and received his rabies vaccine the day before... I was brushing mats out of his fur since he was tame enough to lay in my lap and enjoy a bit of brushing while he recovered. I hit a painful tangle and he whipped around and chomped my hand.... his name was then Chompy. Very sweet cat, otherwise), so it gave me the idea to change Silvie via an accident lol.
That's how she became a werebat years ago, after I had to go through rabies shots when a bat just randomly bumped into my arm while I was at the park with my then-boyfriend, now husband xDDD
Fun fact, if you've ever received the rabies vaccine, you never need to go through the painful shots again. For my cat bite I only needed two flu shot-like jabs and antibiotics to avoid infection, quick and done. Kitty was released back into his neighborhood where I'm 90% sure he's someone's outside pet who they neglected to fix >_< If we weren't completely full up on spaces in our rescue and our house wasn't a wreck from remodeling, we'd have kept him to fully tame him down and rehabilitate him, but alas.
Canonically, I think perhaps Silvie may be a cat long-term now, but she is a witch, so she probably has to cast illusion spells to make her appear as her fox form around people in her former life! So all my old commissions of her are still canon ;v; I really need to get around to posting the stories of Silvie and Robert. There is so much floating around in my head that is just touched on in my ref sheets x'D
This is why you shouldn't mix with volatile witchcraft. You end up with sudden species changes!
Done using a Waitress base because I felt like playing with one lol. I'll do one myself with my art eventually if the cat form sticks.
