Season 2 - Epilogue:
Is it finally time for the other to come into play? And why is the other wolf back?

Notes: This was done in like, 15, 20 minutes. Nothing impressive. I was -really- tempted to reveal the person who's viewpoint this is from....but nah.

Season 2: Epilogue

The large wolf padded softly along the quiet halls of the hospital, his footfalls making only gentle sounds. He stopped in front of Evan’s room, and looked in.

The panther and dragon still held each other, fast asleep. The wolf adjusted his glasses.

“You have done well, my love.” An arctic wolf appeared beside him, not even coming up to his chest.

Josh growled softly. “What? I did nothing.”

“Oh, don’t humble yourself, dear,” the arctic wolf said as he wrapped his arms around Josh’s waist, “You and I both know who instigated that riot. This is your doing.”

Josh growled again, a little louder. “You gave me the order.”

“If you felt remorse, dear love, then why do it?”

Josh looked down at the other wolf. “You and I both know why I couldn’t do that, Selraran.”

Selraran let out a barking laugh. “Well! I’ll give you that, then. You’re not stupid.”

“I didn’t think I was. Now, why are we here?”

“Well, dear one, I just wanted to show you what you’ve caused, and how it will….help, your real task.”

Josh stared at Sel. “REAL task?” he choked out.

“Oh, yes! Did you really think I’d let you simply forget about it ? Oh no, not after you failed last time! You let your bloody target convince you to leave!!” Sel reared up, clearly angry.

Josh fell to his knees and, to all appearances, begged. “Oh please, don’t hurt me, Selraran…Please…” A tear streaked down his cheek.

The arctic wolf grinned maliciously. “Good…Now, get yourself gone before anyone sees you here, my love. I’ll see you back at the house.” Josh got up, leaving quickly.

Sel looked into Evan’s room, his paw on the glass. He sighed after a moment, and removed his paw. Turning on his heel, he quickly left.
