So instead of forgetting to link hi-res images here, and when you do, uploading them to Imgur (instead of, you know, in a zip file on Google Drive, Dropbox, or something similar so we don't need a million different links, AND don't have to worry about them just disappearing), you're going to upload them all behind a paywall?


I mean, you do you, but if you're going to be forgetting to upload things in anything but a batch dump (and even then without all the different versions), how's making people pay for art you already got paid to make, and adding another site to post them, going to help? Sounds like it's just putting them behind a paywall for the paywall's sake. =\

If this is the case (I literally never read journals, because fuck that, so if you stated it there, well, yeah), then take this ridiculously-belated response (anxiety and plain old forgetfulness is the culprit there) as an apology. I thought this was you stating, well, exactly what I said, which was putting up a paywall and using your own forgetfulness as an excuse/reason to do that, and not post full-res versions of commissions for us non-patrons to see. If that's not the case, than I completely apologize. Sorry. ^.-.^;

That said, my point about uploading the full resolution versions all in one place that won't just randomly get deleted (looking at all those Imgur uploads) still stands: Patreon is obviously the choice for, well, the stuff that's uploaded early, but again, there are many, MANY alternative places to upload the alts or full-res images that would be not only easier to download them from, but also a hell of a lot less likely to up and delete your stuff. Mega.nz, Google Drive, Dropbox, hell, even Mediafire or that one hentai site that also allows for torrents of the gallery (blanking on the name) would make more sense, and you could just pack all the files into a single zip file, then you're done.

You seem to be missing the whole premise of him opening a Patreon. Hes opening a patreon to use as a support/tip jar. Hes going to continue to post what he posts there, here, just later.

Those supporting him on patreon just get to see it a month early. After which what's there, is posted publically. Hes also not doin this by himself. And even before then, he asked everyone that he could and they feel that what he is doing with his Patreon is quite fantastic.

Are you worried that he will leave things exclusive to patreon? Cuz that's easily dismissiable. What he has there, will be public. Just later.

I wish you the best on it duder! Patreon can be a bit of a tricky thing to swing now a days but I bet you can do it. You're a really talented artist so I don't doubt people will wanna support ya, and on top of that something like Patron can help a bit with stuff like consistent posting because its like a reminder to upload stuff for a certain date.

All in all I hope you get lots of support and have fun doing it, I look forward to seeing what you do. :D

I actually believe you can do that! There is a, though rather small, Option under the tier lists that allows you to make a custom pledge!

what you do is you click on "Become a Patron", then scroll down to the bottom of the tierlist, and itll say "Make a custom pledge" and you can choose how much you want to give from there!
