Residence: a cozy lantern lit cottage in Southeastern China outside Xiamen, the interior is cluttered with books, scrolls, talismans, knickknacks and houseplants

Skills: masterful light botanokinesis(able to help flowers and plants grow, can revive dead plants) and geomancy(divination through soil and earth), expert malignance repulsion, adept mystical healing, potion creation and barrier projection

This is Dongxiang Fan, one of very few spellcrafters left in the world and a highly adept mage. They specialize in botanokinesis and geomancy and have written many spell tomes in their younger years. Apprentice magic users would be foolish not to respect the work they've done for modern magic, though some view their nonchalance and playfulness as childish traits not befitting a great mage. In modern day, Dongxiang Fan is far less serious than they were as a young scholar and now takes on an easy going, somewhat sarcastic and scatterbrained persona. They're an eccentric one and rather impish, often playing pranks on visitors to their modest home by the sea. They don't mind sharing some of their tricks with visitors, so long as they come bearing a snack. They may also accept flowers and souvenirs.
