HOMG SONA DESIGNS AND STUFF
BET YOU CANT TELL WHAT MY FAVORITE COLORS ARE OR ANYTHING
Brainstorming y'know, for new fursona.
From left to right:
The Jackalope: Dont think i'll be going with him. If I do he'll get his colors played around with A LOT because i think i need some more light to go with his dark. MOAR COLOR NEED. However, his body shape is interesting. I might draw him again even if i decide not to use him as my fursona.
The Bull: That guy in the middle of the page there is inspired by my pokesona; Basil the shiny Tauros. However, there are some things about tauros that i dont really like. So I just kinda made him more...me! Haha. So far he's one of the most promising.
The Kirin: No way in hell am i using that as a fursona. I'm not that fancy y'know. HOWEVER, I reall like the colors and the design of him and i'll prolly keep him in the archives to doodle up later.
Three Goat-Deer Things: Just some different designs of facial patterns for goats and deer and things of that nature. If i end up using any of these the colors will probably be changed and things'll be refined up a lot.
Goat-Elwin: Its me...but a goat thing....? The other most promising one besides the one above it.
Elly: Elly's already a sona of mine, but...he's a little too special for every day use, I think.
SO! Tell me what you think! What's your opinion of each of these? What would you change? What would you keep? What do you like? What do you hate? Anything you think i should expand on? Any other kinds of things you think i should try? Talk to me! I'm on the hunt for the perfect fursona!

I think the bull looks like my favorite, but don't let my opinion tell you what to do. XD If you did use him, I'd suggest a change in hair, it just doesn't seem quite YOU. Not in color or anything, just style. (And of course this is because this is just a scribble, but make his horns not grow from his ears~ XD)
But if you wanted to go with the Jackalope design, one way you could throw a splash of color back on there is to make his horns/hooves a color instead of just black. Doesn't have to be anything garish, just try a dark color that would go well, like an olive green or a gold. Or even purple, but I love crazy colors. And you're right, his main body needs some color design too. Try making that light color that's on his face more of a second color instead of a one random spot color? Play around with that, but of course it always looks nice to have a lighter color be an underbelly kind of color.
Of the faces on the lower left, I'd have to say to NOT use the color combination on the bottom. XD Maybe if the colors were more saturated, but right now it just kind of looks icky. But anyway, you could combine any other design ideas with any of those markings and colors, like the jackalope for example if you're working on spicing up his colors. I think the bull could do with some extra patterning too~
As for the Goat-Elwin, that could work out too, but I think he needs a small splash of color somewhere. Try making that grey accent color into something else? Again, doesn't have to be too flashy, could just be a kind of desaturated color, I just don't think he's bright enough for you.
OKAY HOPE MY OPINIONS GAVE YOU SOME IDEAS EVEN IF YOU HATE THEM

Aww, I liked his hair...
Also, his ears are between the two sets of horns, but that was a last minute idea and so they got kinda...weird lookin.
Right, thats what i was planning with the Jackalope. Giving him an underbelly color and making the green unique to the hair and using the light color as the spots. It'd look more natural that way.
Well, the designs on the bottom, and their colors, were pretty random. Like i said, they were just for the facial design and a really ROUGH idea of color. But mostly just for the design and what kind of color would go where. -shrug-
O.o You are very hellbent on making me like..BRIGHT COLORS HOMGEE and i was kinda trying to mute down the colors so it looked more natural and less fanciful. Haha. ><
There are still some designs of things I wanna try, I'm just not sure how to go about them. Buut, thank you very much for your input. -nod nod-
