Oh, I wish I did!

I had a G4 iMac back in the day, but that was years ago. I've been drawn back to them lately, but I'd need to save up before I take that plunge again. I'll probably do it in the summer when they have the free iPod promotion.

Apples are nice comps. But I find them absolutely useless for my needs and how much they cost. My old high school is ridding of some old eMac's for like $50. But those things probably have a 500MHz cpu in them. I'm sure if they posted them on Craigs List they'd probably actually sell them.

hehe i understand, i know i want it because i want to be able to record videos really easily and have simple tool to use instead of always getting 3rd party support.

Actually.... I just found the specs on the biggest eMac which is one of two 7447a's and it houses a 1.42GHz cpu in it. So it kind of makes me want to acquire one now if I can get $50. From what they said officially Apple said it can hold up to 1gb of ram. But a third party tested it and found out it can actually hold 2gb of ram which is cool.

So if I can get $50 and a 7447a model with a 1.42GHz cpu that would be sweet. I might not have use for it game wise. But as much as I love watching movies on my pc. Older full screen dvd's just don't look that great on my wide screen monitor.

That or I could find another use for it since I'm awaiting the arrival of a new video card I ordered. But that's IF I could acquire $50 and IF I could acquire that specific model. :)
