Cameron's eyes alight upon the image and he smiles, fingers gingerly grasping at the edges of the photo in his hand. A memory. There's a tightness in his chest as his eyes scan it's contents, but he knows why that feeling is there. It's a familiar feeling. Each a memory of times long past; a road now long since ended. He wants to see them all, one last time, and say goodbye.
His eyes catch on familiar faces and bright smiles. He recalls the feeling of warm embraces and soft paws, scented fur and passionate lips. It's a mess of fragments, embers of intimacy that dance in cold wind. He remembers the tears and fear, that numb loneliness in the dark. It all comes flooding back to him in pieces, a conflict that swirls inside more and more as his mind flickers through memories like transparent film. He swallows it; he wants to. The feeling inside him calms and he puts the photo down, picking up the next.
Cameron's eyes alight upon the image and he smiles, fingers gingerly grasping at the edges of the photo in his hand. A memory.
A little creative writing. I hope its decent! It might be somewhat subpar considering how tired I was writing it, but I really wanted to convey the idea behind this piece.

That's such a neat idea! I keep my photos all put away in keepsake boxes. This art and piece of writing is based off of some stuff I've had to go through myself. Accepting memories, good and bad, appreciating those time for all that they were and finally closing that chapter. It's been healthy and therapeutic!
Cool! We, family have 3 XL boxes full of childhood photos. I found the dates back that my parents took them at that time. It's interesting to look how old the photos are. From now we no longer take paper photos. My mother and siblings save digital photos on their smartphones or laptop. Gosh, I miss paper photos. I decided to buy a new compact camera and order new photos from the company Smartphoto. Very cheap and better quality then other companies. I give them a second life :D
