originally named "Darren Shier," I'm thinking of officially changing it to "Galen." Or, perhaps like with most of the other characters, Galen is just an alias, with Darren being his real name.

In any event, Galen is a Human Mage (of Irish decent) specializing in Ice Magic. He uses a specially modified gun as a medium to fire freezing blasts of his elemental magic(presumably this is easier to do than casting the spell with only his hands or a "wand" of some such). He also carries a blade that can be used in combination with his magic in a similar fashion. The two items can also be combined to form a Gunblade, used in conjunction with him more complex and powerful spells.
