Funnily enough, a lion-centaur called a Sagittary is a heraldic device that also bears an arrow. It's possibly I had Saggitarius in mind tho - another centauroid archer.

It's also just as possibly I like drawing wemics (and I drawn plenty of them) because I enjoy the challenge of giving such a muscular animal as a lion (and they ARE stocky and muscular) a believable centauroid bodyform.
