Artemis sat upon her perch and reached out to the dark feathered being before her. As her finger tips connected with the bird, a spark of lightning lit up around her hand and wrist. She flinched at the shocking pain. Oh how she wished she could show affection to her raven companions, the only beings who didn't fear her. The distant sound of sirens was getting louder, but she didn't move. She would wait and hope for the closure she longed for. "Hopefully things will be different next time. May we meet again my friends."
