Hurricane Prep, Stay Save Everyone!
I know a handful of people who live in locations that are at risk for hurricane damage, so I thought I'd make something that may help :D
Supplies that are good to have ready in case of a hurricane
Water: At least a 3-day supply. The red cross recommends one gallon per person for each day.
Food: At least a 3-day supply of non-perishable and easy to prepare food.
At least one Flashlight. One per person is best if you have it.
A Battery-powered or hand-crank radio (a NOAA Weather Radio if possible).
Extra Batteries for anything you'll be packing.
First Aid Kit, One should be fine but more never hurt.
7 Day supply of any medicines, or medical equipment that you need. (cane, hearing aids with extra batteries, glasses, ect.).
A Muti-Purpose tool. Think of a 24 in 1 pocket muti-purpose tool or anything close to it.
Important Documents, or Copies of them. (ID, Birth certificate, Deed to House, etc.).
Emergency Blankets.
Insect Repellent and Sun Screen.
Baby Supplies if you have children or live in a location with children and have access to these supplies before hand.
Rain Gear.

Check your disaster supplies and replace or restock as needed.
Fill your car's gas tank.
Turn the refrigerator and freezer in the coldest setting and keep them closed as much as possible so food will last longer if power goes out.

Learn about your community's hurricane response plan.
Hurricane Safty Tips for your Pets.
Make sure that cats and dogs are wearing collars and identification tags that are up to date.
Put your cellphone number on your pet's tag (or a relative/friend's number in case you need to evacuate).
Find a safe place to stay ahead of time.
Sadly, Many shelters won't allow your animals. Please make sure they can, or that you've got accommodations for your pets as well.
Bring your pet with you if you evacuate.
Stock enough food and water for each pet for at least five days.
Don't forget to bring your pet's medications and a sturdy leash or carrier.
These are Recommended by The American Red Cross.
Please Feel free to pack extra items as needed, and to modify the list if needed, but make sure that you're prepared in the event of a Hurricane, and please feel free to share this on and off site to anyone who you think may benefit from this list during hurricane season.
