still trying to figure out the story for this one. the broken pieces of this character concept are trying to find cohesion in my head. this innocent looking creature is some kind of demonic vector: a vehicle for possession. any cut produced with a bladed weapon instantly curses normal weapons and has a good chance to corrupt magical blades as well. any bloodletting caused by a bladed weapon essentially creates and frees an ethereal copy of the essential infernal energy that is this cute little thing's 'soul'. and each strike made by an attacker from a blade that has been so infected weakens the will of the wielder, leaving them increasingly more susceptible to the creature's charm until they are eventually nothing but soulless zombie puppets with their souls imprisoned in the very swords they were attacking with.
