Naturally, the HEAT team caught wind of Metlana's situation and managed to rescue her before the torch-bearing lynch mob could get to her, and the metal-skinned girl was relocated to New York. A lifetime of abuse and neglect isn't so easily undone, however, and upon hooking up with a couple of girls who'd gone through the same kind of life, they decided to take it out on the one M-Girl who was not only smaller and weaker than them, but had somehow managed to luck into the kind of life they'd been denied, one with a loving family and home: Madison.

Of course, I wouldn't want Maddy facing the "I-Girls" alone, just as she wouldn't want her family to come and constantly save her butt. She needs other M-Juniors...and, by coincidence, the "good guy" monster in "Inhumanoids" happen to be called "Mutores" anyway, so there's the "M" for you...hey, it seemed like a bonus to me, anyway...

SO...here are the M-Juniors, starting with Pebbles the Granite. Personality-wise, Pebbles is, like her source creature, an abject coward. When your sole power is the ability to hide as a pile of rocks, combat is not your top priority, but Pebbles tends to be very slow and pragmatic.

I'm still working on their origins and how they end up at HEAT headquarters, but the idea of the Earth Corps being HEAT's West Coast counterpart is almost too good to pass up.
