Russell grew up mostly with his grandfather as his parents were important scientists that traveled often. His grandfather showed him how to use his hands to create, rather than the destroying he did as a child. Spent most of his childhood in a makeshift lab tinkering with a new experiment. Russell was recruited personally by Company 9 for his exceptional skill.
