Bael is a high ranking demon lord in charge of one of the circles of Hell. He's incredibly lackadaisical when it comes to his duties, believing torturing mortals to be incredibly pointless. As he sees it, there's no chance of reform for the human race, and while he doesn't pity mortals, he would rather spend his time doing what he wants than fussing about their eternal retribution.

Bael is cis and gay, though he sometimes chooses not to present with male genitalia due to modesty. His exact form is strange, seeming to borrow parts from multiple different creatures.
While Bael can shapeshift, it is more limited than Samael's. However, Bael has the ability to manipulate shadows, from using them to as a shield or a weapon or even phasing in and out of them or using them as portals.

Though he would never admit it, he likes to spend most of his time with his boyfriend Samael. His chaotic boyfriend can be a handful at times, but he'd be lying if he said he didn't enjoy that about him.

According to Samael, Bael's hair is incredibly soft and fluffy, almost like a chinchilla's fur.
