I'd rather see a new one, but I don't think sega cares one way or another. I'm pretty sure JSR is dead - forever.

JSR and JSRF have got to be some of my favorite games of all time... OF ALL TIME. And the soundtrack(s) were just freaking fantastic.

But anyway... don't lose all hope! Tomorrow, Sega is releasing Sega All Star Racing and Beat is a confirmed playable character.

He was also in Sega Superstar Tennis alongside Gum. There were a couple JSRF themed levels and a few other cameos as well.
(That was a relatively fun game and is worth picking up, if only to see Beat and Gum in HD you can probably find a used copy for less than $5)

So, the series is still in the minds of Sega developers; there may be a glimmer of hope at the end of this long, dark tunnel that we've been traveling down the past 8 years...

I'm still pissed that I can't get JSRF at all, at least I still have my dreamcast version.

Hey hey! I remember this game for the xbox! It was pretty fun. You had to tag walls against other gangs and beat up the police to get through the level. Then there were the levels where you had to fight the gangs and spray them to beat them.

I loved JSR for the Dreamcast so much. :>

Hey, it's not all bad if you think about it, and at least they can do it for the Wii and PS3 is coming out with that wand thing that they stole the idea from nintendo, then there's project Nital for the 360, you could have it for all three systems with basic controls or use the gimmicky thing.

But for me, I'll get it if it makes it on the Wii and PS3, not the 360 out of protest for JSRF never coming out for the cube or the PSX or PS2 at the time.

I had the dreamcast versions of this game and the xbox version and I LOVED it. I really miss it and I really wish they would make a new one.

JSRF is sadly one of the good games to be forgotten like midevil and tiny tank, kinda suks too cause it rocked.

As awesome as this would have been, with the sad fact that Sega have for the past decade mostly SUCKED, it will never, EVER happen... And even if it did made, Sega's utterly USELESS State-side and European divisions would make DAMN sure to ruin the resultant release of the game in the West anyway. =/
