Had this idea a long while back, sketched it out months ago on paper. Finally got around to working on it recently, and here it is. It's not as good as I would have liked, yet at the same time, it turned out better than I expected it to, so I'm content with it.

The Mesmerize enemy is honestly one of my favorites in the entirety of Final Fantasy 8. I might get around to drawing some of the other enemies I liked from 8 at some point, maybe from the other games as well? I can probably guarantee at least one chocobo. I have a few rough sketches of them I made around the time I sketched this Mesmerize, so chances are there'll be chocobos down the line. We'll see though.
