Well, who was expecting this duo to get in? I mean, in the past, it seemed impossible.
But lo and behold, here they come to join the battle. Pretty happy for you Banjo fans! Hopefully Conker can somehow tag along with them.
Speaking of Conker, drawing him in the pic was responsible for this pic getting a background. I was intending the tree he was peeking behind to be just a square until I made it a tree. So yeah. That was fun.
Regardless, DK and Diddy are happy to see their old buddies again!

From my own digging, it seems Conker Live and Reloaded managed to make it to Japan shores, and there's also Rare Replay. I also found a few fan drawings on Pixiv, and there's this one Japanese Fan on Twitter who made a Conker Moveset.

So I guess Conker is kind of known over there.
Or maybe Japan Fans remember him from Diddy Kong Racing, looked him up, and then somehow stumbled upon Bad Fur Day/Live and Reloaded.
Regardless, I'll be hoping he gets in somehow, someway.
