Black-and-white ruffed lemurs (Varecia variegata) are the world's largest pollinators!
In this case we include another specialized pollinator on Madagascar known as the Red ruffed lemur.
To obtain the sweet nectar from flowers, the lemurs stick their elongated snouts into the flowers,
then the pollen gets all over their noses and noticeable fluffy ruffs.
Once the pollen is in the lemurs fur, it gets transferred to the next flower!
