I recently got Babs Wolf into listening to more & more Hall & Oates. She finds it hilarious that John Oates is so much shorter than Daryl Hall, so she gave me this art challenge: John Oates goes to the Monster Shop to become something taller.

That's actually part of an old Newfie joke: a boy who lived in St. John's got so lonesome that he wrote to his mother. And in the letter, he said, "Hey Ma! Guess what? I grew a foot!" And it was Christmas time, so in response, she sent him a little package with three socks in it!
