Well, my first week of school was rather... Taxing. I wanted to take my mind off it by doing a review, but I wasn't too sure on what I'd do it on, then I thought, " I'd never done reviews on any of my adventures, why not?" And here we are now.

My history: Merlin was a character I thought would turn out to be a villain along with hurricane. While the latter was true (to an extent), Merlin was actually a cool character. He cared about his friends (and his enemies), and his belief that he can turn invisible is comedy gold. I got this model back when toys r us was still open (rip by the way) along with a set. Merlin is my favorite engine to use.

Pros:
1: the amount of molded/painted detail is amazing.
2: the face is very, very accurate.

Cons:
1: merlin's chassis has very poor clearance, making him unable to work properly even on his own track. This is disappointing because this is an otherwise flawless model. You'd think that since they reused Henry's running board (yes I did my research) that they'd use Henry's chassis too, but no.

Final score: 8/10 great model with few flaws.
