I've been working on this piece for the last 3 days or so as it was the only escape I had to keep my mind busy;
When I first come with the sketch, things weren't so bad, but when "that" hit the fan, I was pretty sure that I wouldn't work on this piece EVER. Working on this piece turned out to be the ONLY thing that kept me from falling apart~ From developing the background, outfit, etc, it was an intense progress that I didn't mind taking as long as I was busy.
Interesting enough, I didn't feel so inspired in years as I did during this whole process, as sad as it sounds.
Things are far from being stable, but I want to keep positive.
Other thing that I learn throughout this phase is that I really need to take a break and develop more on my personal projects. Even tho I didn't draw this piece in a good stage on my life, I understood that I can come up with greater things than what I've developing until now.
I'm still at a low pace when it comes to commissions and rewards. I'm drained and exhausted at this point, totally disconnected, although I hope next week can be better and I can resume my work.

Duke is probably the character that I love most of all my OC's. He is a really intense character that It is in constant growth after so many years since I first create him.
He is so dear to me that I'm always afraid to draw him...I don't know how to explain it, but it is super difficult to me to put him in "paper".
This was suppose to only be a stand alone piece just for practice and whatnot, so it doesn't really have any meaning behind it besides showing off his aesthetics - a bit disappointing I know, but I can't work better than this at this point~
I'll be sure to work on more "interactive" pieces in the future.
