So gryphon's were seen as a type of guardian ino the past and with the wings on an anthro form it kinda can make them look angelic so I decided to make some back story for Sawyer.
Long ago she was a type of celestial guardian, often a patron to the adventurous but still often would tend to the sick since gryphons were gifted with medicinal powers. After a great war she cast off her title of guardian to live a more simple life. Sawyer found fun in the modern ways of man and through many simple means is still able to continue her adventurous nature. She often found flying over mountains or simply running through the woods. She enjoys lounging in high tree branches and whistling with birds aswell
